Access for carers

Have a clear front-of-house briefing for 'carers access' process. This is especially important if it is a ticketed event.

Ensure 'front of house' teams are well briefed, ready to welcome all of your guests and able to manage any adhoc requests.

You don't want attendees to feel alienated, whether the carer themselves or the person they are with by their access being denied or delayed.

For example it might be that your protocol is for carers to go free but that in order to do so they need to complete the registration form. Make sure everyone is aware so that the process is smooth, creates a good impression and ensures inclusion.
